Hello,

I'm looking for what I thought was a simple report. I just want a PDF with items that are expired.

It seems simple tasks have become complicated and time consuming.

Is there any way I can just get a list of expired items?

I tried running the Item Expiration Quantity report and there is no PDF option. only excel and it produces a blank sheet even with no filters using todays date.

The download option does the same. I think there is a bigger issue with the reports. Very frustrating.

You can try running the Item Expiration - Quantity report: Item Expiration - Quantity (report) - Business Central | Microsoft Learn

When you run the report you can Print to PDF or select Send to... at the bottom and select it as a PDF or excel document.

You can see the report shows me what items I have expiring in different aging buckets:

Alternatively you can open the Item Ledger Entries page and then send that page to excel, just make sure you have expiration dates added to that page:

Hello,

Yes use the standard Item Expiration - Quantity report (Report 5809). It is meant to show on-hand inventory that is expired or close to expiring, based on item tracking expiration dates. Search for Item Expiration - Quantity, set the ending date to today if you only want expired stock, then preview or send/export it to PDF. If you do not see meaningful results, check that the items/lots actually have expiration dates through item tracking; otherwise BC has nothing to report as expired.

OP here.

There is no print to PDF option. I run the report and there is nothing in it. it's a blank excel sheet.
