Functional Location data update

Posted on by 15

Hi Everyone,

  • I hope someone can help-
  • ichbhve a monhly import for assets selected fields-
  • how can i record every import as a data record set and at the end of the year, havinh 12 data sets available?
  • RE: Functional Location data update

Agreed with Ali, you can create a basic chart using the created on date on the table you are reporting on. Of course you can use power BI as well but it's not necessary for a simple graph. Here is a doc on charts - docs.microsoft.com/.../create-edit-system-chart

This is where you can see the actual import history although I can't find the table this is stored in, in advanced find. Hopefully the created on field with charts does the trick, but if you need specifically per import, hopefully someone else seeing this can chime in!

Hey Dornell, Would each imported record's 'Created On' and 'Created By' fields help?

You can create views and dashboards based on these fields.

thank you Dan for your prompt reply!  yes i have done 3 imports so far with csv/ excel-

where can I retreave the Create On imports from?

would it be possible to create dashboards and analyse these importes data records monthly?

i would need a kind of timeseries-like overview on that-

so far the imports are working just fine-

now i need to compare month-to-month the datasets.

    any ideas in this?

very much appreciate anz feed back!

    RE: Functional Location data update

Hi Dornell, do you plan to import through excel or through direct integration with another tool? If you plan to just import through excel, there are import records created so you can retain that information, or you can also use the "created on" data and run reports. Here are some docs. If this answer the question please mark as verified! - docs.microsoft.com/.../import-data-all-record-types
