I'm the admin, so I have a development server, a test server, a production server, and my own private test box. Are there any problems or issues with running multiple instances on the client?

Thanks alot. I never considered using multiple instances on the same server. One of those 'slap the foreheard' moments.
Go to MSDynamicsWorld to link to the story, but try this again:
Hey Mariano, The link your provided is not working. Can you double check it? Right now it is

no. these are actual servers. i have them up and running fine. i've had problems with other ERPs. just thought i'd ask about GP.

Are these virtual environments?
Kind regards,

Define multiple instances...
If you are trying to replicate the same development, test, and production servers on your private test box, then you can certainly have 3 instances of SQL Server with 3 instances of GP, each instance of GP attached to an instance of SQL. Take a look at my article Set Up Microsoft Dynamics GP Test and Production Environments on a Budget over at MSDynamicsWorld (registration required) for more information.
