Time Zone on Time sheets

Posted on by 182

Hi,

I have a scenario where in the employee and Project Manager are in 2 different time zones. If the employee has entered time entry for Monday, the manager sees it against Sunday records. If I change the time zone of the manager to be the same as employee's on Personalisation settings, then the time sheet entry looks okay. But how do I achieve this without changing the timezone on Personal settings?

Cheers

Deeksha

At this point, this is the design limitation to achieve it OOB.

The timezone can be updated in personal settings.

    Hi handedee,

Maybe you can create another date time field for the manager.

Then use the value of the original date field plus the time difference of the two time zone to populate the new date value, which can be achieved through calculated field.
