I moved my solution from v8 to v9 .Now I am getting scripts error related to ClientApiWrapper.aspx on some entities .If I enable legacy it goes away.But I can't keep it on?Please guide what to do?

I think there might be something wrong with some JavaScript on the form.
Can you please check that and disable all OnLoad, OnChange & OnSave event handlers? Publish All Customizations & Clear the IE Cache, then try to open the form again. If the issue does not reproduce, then try enabling the event handlers one by one again, until it starts failing. This should help you identify the faulty JS.
