How to do I bill an invoice on instalment basis? (For Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Business Edition)

I'm trying to do the same thing. I would like to create 4 $250 invoices at the beginning of the next 4 months for a total of $1,000. Do I have to manually create them or is there a way to create one document that will automatically generate the invoices at the beginning of each month?
