Is there any stored Procedure wich conect with GP2010 to send mails for Outlook?

hello,

i have a problem with business portal while users are trying to make purchase orders and the company has decided not to use any more business portal to make purchase orders, so what they want to do is to replace business portal to GP2010 to make purchase orders, but they have two profiles, one of them is the approver and the other one is the pocreator, they want that when the pocreator create a purchase order sends automatically an email to the approver using an stored procedure like sp_send_dbmail.

Is there any way to make that using sqlserver2008r2?

please help me!!!! thanks.

In case if you do not have SharePoint, Have you tried creating a trigger on table POP10100 to auto-send email using SQL upon INSERT?

Have you considered using the SharePoint Workflow for Dynamics GP? - there is an out of the box "Purchase Order Approval" workflow. which has the ability to process e-mail notifications in the manner you describe above (and can be very much more sophisticated if required).
