I tried to update a customized field in VAT Entries.
Although I set the right to modify the table VAT Entry but it still show the error:
What should I configure to allow update VAT Entries?
Updating fields in posted tables is not allowed.
If you need to update posted data you need to do it in code and you need to be very careful when it is done so you do not break the integrity of your data. I always recommend to discuss those situation with a partner so they can advice if it is doable in a safe way or they recommend it not to be done.

You cannot modify posted table data using Config, Package.
Anyway you can get the help of your partner to get this done by creating a new Page with proper permissions.
But make sure with your partner because it's not recommended to modify the posted data.

No, this requires customization. But it is also not recommended, it may destroy the integrity of the data.
