Phys Inventory Journal

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

we posted inventory counts using the Phys Inventory Journal, but we discovered that many of the item's counts were entered incorrectly.  Are we able to reverse these entries and repost.  There is just too many to adjust manually.

Try exporting data from item journal to Excel as a template and fill in Excel the items you need to adjust, then export it back again to adjust the quantities to needed amounts.

I would copy those posted entries

    Paste them in Excel

Do changes and adapt column to Phys. Inv. Diary

Copy from excel and paste it in Phys. Inv. Diary

    Hi Ernie,

not much you can do but adjust entries manually. With the developer help you can upload correct figures into the journal for posting.

Unfortunately there is not reverse function to undo phys inventory journal batch post, one thing you could do is export those entries based on your batch or document no. and then import them into Journal using Xmlport and do the adjustment.
