Customizing warehousing app - blind cycle count

Hello,

Currently for blind cycle counts you have to enter an item ID, batch number, LP then quantity. We are looking at changing this so they only have to enter in an LP and a quantity and it will be do the rest and behave the same as the standard cycle count. Has anyone ever done something similar like this? The WhsWorkExecuteDisplayCycleCount seems to use these values in a very specific order, any suggestions or insight would be appreciated.
