I am trying to setup DPS for a customer using GP 2010 SP3. I have DPS running, configured a process server, and setup receipt batches to post through the process server.
But when I open User Preferences for the user to try and enable Remote processes, the option is grayed out. It is this way in their production and test environements, and is the same for 'sa' and non-sa users.
Any idea what might be causing this?

I have confirmed that the Distributed Processing option was disabled due to the client's licensing. I used some test keys in their test environment, and that enabled the Distributed Processing option under User Preferences.
I was reminded that the client may have purchased GP prior to the BRL licensing--I don't remember how DPS was licensed back then, so it is possible that they have an older license that did not include DPS.
Based on this Partner forum thread, it appears that DPS is only available with BRL AM.

I believe the customer is using Manufacturing and full Distribution, so I'm puzzled as to how they could have BE.
I'll check with the customer and post an update, but if anyone has any other thoughts, I'm interested in hearing them.
