How to activate intercompany in a roll-out project?

Hi!

What is the best way to handle activation of intercompany in a roll-out project? We have sales companies working in D365SCM and the vendor is still in AX. (Temporary Integration is created to create and update orders)

Now is it time for the vendor to join D365SCM in the same environment as the sales companies and we will active intercompany. For new orders it is not an issue since orders will be created both in sales company and Supply company but what is the best way to get all open orders to be created in the Supply-company in D365SCM? Do we have to cancel all sales orders in the sales companies and place new orders or is there a way to activate intercompany for open purchase orders?

Hi Daniel, I am having the same challenge. I have 3 migration coming up with intercompany and these customers do not want to go live with all companies.

How did you do the temporary Integration to create and update orders? Thanks in advance!

Intercompany is created in Sales Order Creation, so you need to recreate those Sales Orders in D365
