Is it possible to add the SMS widget to contacts in Dynamics Contact Center?
Yes, but it depends on what you mean by "SMS widget".
If your goal is to send or view SMS from a Contact recordThere are a few options:Dynamics 365 Sales SMS Conversation PaneIf you're using Dynamics 365 Sales with SMS enabled, you can open an SMS conversation directly from a Contact record by selecting the message icon next to the phone number. The conversation pane displays the full SMS thread and allows sending/receiving messages.Custom embedded widget (Power Apps Component or iframe)If you're using Contact Center with Twilio or ACS, you can build a custom PCF control or embed your provider's messaging UI on the Contact form.This is a customization and not a Microsoft-provided feature.Third-party SMS solutionsSeveral AppSource solutions provide an SMS panel directly on Contact, Lead, or Account forms
The customer has Concact Center and not Sales. Buying sales just for this seems a bit much. This SMS feature in sales just seems much more relevant for service. Building a custom PCF control is an option but I rather avoid it if there was something standard.
