How can we change a standard field?

Hello all,

I want to change a standard field. How can i change the type of the field or how can i change the length of the field? Is it possible to do these changes?

    Hi Vaggelis

    changing the type of the field is not possible. If it's a custom field, you have to delete it and recreate it.
