Script Error: Using Marketing App in Teams

I'm having an issue with using D365 Marketing app in Teams. The issue does not occur otherwise. When trying to add a Marketing Email record (when click +New button), it's throwing a script error "Blocked a frame with origin ____ from accessing a cross-origin frame. The log file shows the onload function:

Error Details:
Event Name: onload
Function Name: MSDynCrmMkt.Handlers.onLoadEmail
Web Resource Name: msdyncrm_DynamicsMarketing.CrmWebResource
Solution Name: MicrosoftDynamics_Marketing
Publisher Name: microsoftdynamics

Hi trystuff,

This is CORS issue related to web security and it is by design.

You need to change web resource file appropriately.

Because of customization webresource file is trying to access Teams window element from inside an iframe of dynamics page. Teams app does not allow window.top element access by any hosted tab.

As a workaround you can try to use window.parent instead of window.top
