Remove a transaction from the build payment batch form through code

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

version - Great Plains 2018 R2

we have a business need to remove applied transactions from a payable batch through code.

the form is the Build Payment Batch

eConnect does not provide a procedure to manage this.  (a payables version of taRMUnapplyTransaction would be nice if it existed which it doesn't)

what are all of the tables involved and is there a sequence that needs to be followed?

any suggestions would be appreciated

Why do you need code to accomplish this? You are building a check batch and before you print the checks simply delete or edit the selected check from the batch.

Create a GP Addins, create dynamic Macro script file from your source data and run it. Payables Apply is very tricky, as per my knowledge, once it fully applied immediately it moved to history table, and then you can not do UnApply. you must void the the payment.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks

    Hi,

From a support standpoint we don't support creating custom code.  Let's see if the community can help you with your question.
