Variance Analysis Statement in AX does not ties with G.L report Account detail

can any one help with this , if you guys use this report Variance analysis statement report trying to ties this report with Account detail  report from G.L  Module, amount does not ties for both report, 

for example   if I run the Variance analysis statement report for  Purchase price variance  and  G.L report   Account detail  by  PPV  G.L 

amount are different

Variance analysis report does not pick up all the variance for PPV,  we have IT dept to modify this report to add G.L acct # Variance report so we can run by G.L acct , it does not give us same total , to match G.L report by PPV acct # 

has any one run into this issue in this report,  what other report you guys use it for variance in std cost

can some one please advise

    did compare the data on both report,  Variance report shows data if the Purchase order fully invoiced,

    Account detail voucher shows variance if even partially invoiced Po ,

    that's the diff  between two reports,

    that's why all the variance amount does not show on Variance report , compare to account detail if comparing with PPV G.L acct .

    where is this Price Variance Inquiry form ?

    could not find it Inventory Management ?

    Hello Bitia,

    I have not heared a similar problem for a AX2009 system. Can you investigate first whether some transactions have manually be posted on your price variance accounts e.g. through General Ledger journals?

    There is also a price variance inquiry form available. Have you - at least exemplarily - tried comparing the report data with the data shown in this form?
