How do i deactivate a segment in real time without deleting it?

How can I turn off a segment without deleting it? I want it out of the ready to use part, but i don't want to delete them because they have been used in journeys.

Today - we do not have a functionality that allows users to deactivate a segment that is created and in a 'ready to use' state.
This is one of the top features that we are currently working on in our backlog and we hope to have this ready towards the end of H1 2024.

Hi,

I tested it in my environment and this function does not seem to exist. I cannot edit segments that are in a live journey, and segments that are in the status "ready to use" and are not in a live journey can be edited but not deactived.

Maybe there is already a idea submitted for this function.
