Hi guys,

Hope, you will be fine and safe.

I was trying to update the 'Account Type' field value (which is a Option set type) when qualify the lead and 'lead type' equals 'external' using the JavaScript but it is not working properly. So, If anyone can help me to achieve this, will be highly appreciated.

Hi om_mzp ,

If you want to implement in the update event of lead, JavaScript doesn't make sense.

JavaScript works on onchange or onload or onsave events.

I recommend you to use Workflow or Power Automate or Plugin to accomplish this.

Yes, it's nice suggestion. I created a workflow for the same and it worked fine.

You can use workflow or power automate. If you want to run as Async then power automate is best.MS is alos suggested Power Automate over workflow
