Catching up on Service Packs

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We have an installation of GP 10 that is currently on version 10.00.1061. According to the documentation that should be SP2. I need to get this installation up to SP5. Is it possible to just run the SP5 update without running SP3 and SP4? Will SP5 include all of the changes in SP3 and SP4?

    Hi,

Dynamics GP SP's tend to be cumulative therefore you only have to install SP5 you dont have to install SP3 and SP4.

FYI, in the header of the web page:  "Previous Service Packs, Hotfixes and Compliance Update Releases for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0" its says "All service packs, hotfixes, tax updates and year end updates are cumulative.  All client installations including multi-lingual installations must have the same version to launch successfully"

    Hope this helps

    Thanks

    Gav
