Identify if a field was updated in Power Pages(Power Portal) instead of D365 Sales app
Hi San,
When external users create or update records on the portal, the actual creator or modifier of the record is not them.
No matter which external user logs into the portal, the record belongs to a fixed user set by the system.
Through test in my environment,
# Portals-Customer Self Service 1 is this fixed user.
So i can use 'Modifield By = # Portals-Customer Self Service 1' as condition as a way to indicate that the current field change was operated by an external user on the portal.
You can test this in your environment to see which user this is and use it in your business logic.
