Split Fixed asset, transaction type "Acquisition adjustment" & "Depreciation adjustment"?

I want to use Split Fixed Asset functionality. We want to develop a report to compile a list of all fixed assets for which this feature has been utilized. Our primary filter for this report would be the Transaction Types: /Acquisition adjustment/ and /Depreciation adjustment/. As these are used when splitting the assed.

Does anyone know:

1. Will the Split Fixed Asset feature consistently use the Transaction Types /Acquisition adjustment/ and /Depreciation adjustment/?
2. Are these Transaction Types: /Acquisition adjustment/ and /Depreciation adjustment,/ used for other functionalities within our system?
