Good Morning,
I've seen some posts about this, mostly referring folks to using Integration Manager. Periodically, we have sets of items that need to be added. It becomes cumbersome to enter them one at a time. I was wondering if anyone has sample SQL for entry through the tables or possibly an example of eConnect importation. We are using eConnect, but do not have IM.
Thank you,
- Nick

To follow-up, the samples provided did help. There are encrypted (protected stored procedures) that can be used to create various entities and pre and post procs that can modified. So, we examined the existing items tracing the various pieces of data and created a loop pulling in the data we wanted to use and supplied it to the procedure that corresponded to the item we were trying to create.
Thank you.
Send over your email address and I will send you samples of what I have developed. They will get you started.
No locations, no multi-currency, no-vendor assignment. The existing items are marked as Sales Inventory and set to default accounts. U of M is Each.
Do you need to assign locations to items and designate the primary vendor? What about multi-currency? To use eConnect a functional currency must be defined for the company.
Hi. I'm very comfortable with SQL. What I need to do is to add new non-inventory items. This is so when I use eConnect later to send in new line items, those items exist in GP.
Which IV tables do you need to hit? I routinely use stored procedures that call the eConnect stored procedures to insert item data. They change depending on the data to be imported.
Nick, What kind of items you are importing into GP
