PTE Timsheets - Web Approval versus Desktop Approval

Using GP 14.00.061 with Web Client

Approver has a SQL Server Account. In Web Client: Project > PTE Timesheets > Pending Approval, the timesheets) is selected and the Approve/Complete ribbon button is available, and approval is completed as intended.

Using the desktop stand alone, the Approver logs in with his SQL Server Account: Project > PTE Timesheets > Pending Approval and the timesheet(s) is selected; however, the Approve/Complete ribbon button is greyed out and the timesheet approval cannot be completed.

Any direction as to what to check into in order to have approvals in both applications?

No.

The only work around we have found is to mark one of the timesheets; then the Approval glyph is ready to click. Then, you can mark all the timesheets for approval, and they will move on to the next workflow step in the process.
