Remove Case related emails and portal comments from Sales Account Time Line

Hi,

as our support organization has started to utilize the Case Module and using emails and portal comments we see now that the sales people working on Account and Contact entity se a bunch of Case related activities that is not of interest for Sales Persons and their own email conversations with customers are swallowed by all Case conversations. 

So is there any solution to add a filter to the Time Line to remove some type of emails?

    yes Its a bit odd, I will create a ticket and see what the respons will be.. :)

    It is strange. I suggest that you could raise a ticket to Microsoft Support Team and ask the engineers for more professional help.

    Hi Leo,

    so that is a bit odd then right, cause it says Cascade None, so information should not be passed on to the account roll up view, however the information is there?

    Sorry that it was by designed :-(

    As you can see in the picture, this roll up feature caused that we could see the case activities in account/contact form and it is locked.

    Hi Leo,

    yes that would all be fine, but that would result in no email activities would show at all, that sales person needs to be able to see sales related activities (emails) but no emails generated from Cases. So how can this be achieved?

    Hi partner,

    If you want to hide the email and comments in timeline, you could customize this in form editor.

    change the "show these activities" to "show selected" and do not select email and comments.
