Currently running heavily customised 2013SP1 on-premise CRM instance (number of solutions, plugins, custom workflows etc.)
Looking to migrate to 2015 (silently) before releasing 2016 on-premise to customer base. - assume 12 months
From there will look to plan migration to 365/online - assume 6/12 months
However within the next few months we need to purchase a Portal to satisfy internal service requirements and would obviously like to utilise the Microsoft offering.........but.............appreciate CRM Portals is not compatible with 2013, so ideally would like to purchase ADXStudio7.0.024 (which is now supported) and follow migration path once released by Microsoft, however assuming buying ADXStudio is not a given considering it is a retired product!
To remain with Microsoft my only option was to look at purchasing a 365 instance with CRM Portals add-on - retaining 2013 and running some data synchronisation such as Scribe.................
my only option seems to be look at alternative suppliers/technologies - Firmstep, Salesforce, In-house or work with a partner for custom portal, but not ideal!
Can anyone offer some guidance, options?
