Hi. Our customer si trying to Execute the Reconcile to GL in Dynamics GP (financial routines) and she get the error: Run application error - Path name of the file.xlsx returned 5. Is somebody knows the reason of this error? Is this error related to Excel?

Hi. She tried to get Excel opened in the background and she gets the same message. They are runningon GP2013 french and they have this problem on Excel 2013 and 2007.

I would think this was definitely related to Excel. You can try having excel opened in the background and see if that takes care of your issue. Also, what Version of GP are you on. There was a service pak fix in GP10 that was taking care of an issue with the GL reconcile.
