Hi all,
 
According to MS learn, the user experience has to be changed to Premium for service management and manufacturing modules, can we play around it in CDX environment? I'm wondering if there is any licenses we need to concern.

    No issue in CDX.
     
    For actual environments, the User Experience is a per company selection.  It would require at least 1 BC Premium license (could be a month-to-month license) to test with.  While I don't encourage test companies in a Production environment, it is possible to copy the live company and test the Premium experience in the copy.  I would strongly recommend creating a new Sandbox and switching the User Experience in there, as it is safer on the data and doesn't bloat your Production environment.  Be aware, only the User with the Premium license would be able to access the company once the User Experience is switched to Premium.

    Hello,
     
    Yes. in a CDX/demo environment you can switch the Experience to Premium and test Manufacturing + Service Management with no license issues.
    CDX tenants already include Premium-level access for partners, so you don’t need to buy anything.
     
    In production: Premium license required.
    In CDX: just turn on Company Information → Experience = Premium.
