Hi All,

I am trying to display Notes attachments in Portal timeline.

Scenario 1(Working) : I have attached notes from partner portal and they are visible in CRM platform with *WEB" prefix.

Scenario 2(Not Working) : I have attached notes from CRM platform but they are not visible in Notes Timeline on partner portal.

I have added metadata for notes as well as timeline and also added entity permissions for the same but still its not working.

How can I achieve scenario 2 ?

Regards,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Akash,

Only notes with the prefix *WEB* will be published to the portal from, just add the *WEB* in front of the body of the note text as you are creating the Note in the CRM.

    Hi Leah Ju2,

Thanks for your reply. Your response works and now the attachments are visible in portal.

But the description of that attachment is not understandable in portal. It is automatically converting that description into some syntax.

The description which I have added from platform is highlighted above. Rest of the part is coming automatically.

Is there anything we can do to remove that extra syntax from the description.

    Hi Akash,

From your screenshot, the notes you created from crm are showing up in portal with all HTML tags.

It may be you have enabled the rich text feature for notes in timeline.

Known issues in Power Apps portals - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs

From document that I provided above, it clearly states that rich text features of Notes are not supported in portal.

You can disable rich-text function as following steps.

    1.Go Settings > Administration > System Settings.

2.Under the General tab, uncheck the Use rich text to make it easier to format notes created in Timeline column.

Can you share anything on that. Or Is there anything which is missing from my side(any configuration or any other settings).
