We are developing a custom portal with web pages displaying list.
We have 3-4 entity list and need to apply global search on this list.
Is there a way to implement global search in crm portal to search the records from all the entity list display them.

What code did you use to make the search work? I already implemented the search box and the button but it woun´t filter my entitylist when I click the button. It´t just doing nothing and I can´t figure out why.

Creating custom search using fetch XML works fine.
sorry about that Rahul.. I thought we could add custom entities
I guess the only way out would be creating a custom search.. if you create a custom web template.. you can get the search input, and query multiple Fetch XML for all the entities you need
finally render all the results dynamically .. I am just wondering about the performance, perhaps you could limit with a "top/count" in your Fetches

Records displayed using entity list are from custom entity and according to documentation custom entities cannot be enabled for global search.
I tried following approach,
Added Portal Search view in custom entity.
changed the search/query in site settings.
But it doesnot work.
Is there any other way around.

yes, the portal comes with an OOB feature for global search: docs.microsoft.com/.../search
you can setup the entities within the Site Settings records
