Hi All,

Just want to reconfirm my understanding.

We usually use patches for any minor changes but if there has to be a major enhancement, what does the best practice suggest: continue to have a patch or a new solution?

Thanks,

PS

I have the same question (0)

    RE: Solutions

    Hi,

If there are major changes you should clone your solution which increase the major version of your solution instead of minor version as patch do, I will suggest you to look for this nice article to get better understanding of patching and cloning.

    Hope it will help!
