In GP2015 my posting setup for Receivables Sales Entry is :
Post to GL - marked
Post Through GL - marked
Allow Transaction Posting - marked
Create a journal Entry Per Transaction.
Posting Date from Transaction.
With these settings I can now do transaction level posting without have to post in GL, the journal posts through without attaching it to a batch. Very cool.
Does anyone know if this feature is, or will be made available, in GP2013?

I just tried this with GP2015 R2 with the same settings you mentioned and it does NOT post all the way through. I see the usual RMSLS batch in the GL. This is the same for any previous version of GP.
According to the System Setup Guide for GP 2013 (which can be downloaded here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj673202(v=gp.30).aspx ) in Chapter 13, page 92, it says "Post Through General Ledger Files You also can choose whether General Ledger accounts will be updated automatically when you post from another module to General Ledger. If you mark the Post Through General Ledger Files option, batches posted in other modules automatically will update the module in which the transactions originated and the appropriate posting accounts in General Ledger. Your transactions will post to General Ledger and not through General Ledger when posting transaction individually (without a batch)."
Thanks Vaidy for confirming that. I was working with a customer on GP2013 with the same setup that I have, but their transactions are not posting through; they end up with batches in GL that they need to post.
Now that I know it should work I'll dig further into their problem.

Hi Rob,
This is not something that's new in GP2015. GP has this feature for a long time now.
To confirm, however, yes this one's already available in GP2013 as well.
