Hi,
After I finished install BP. I got an error when I browse "Create new KPI" page. Have anyone faced this before? Any suggestion?

Hi,
I have reinstall BP, but I still get this problem.
Does anyone have ideas?
Thanks
Alex
Hi Alex, I checked with our Tecchie, but he doesn't have a record of the issue (it was one of those needle in a haystack issues, where we tried everything and anything to get the system working, and didn't keep too much of a record of wht we did).
Google the error and see what you get. Its what I would have done when I was researching it.
Installing IIS, MOSS and BP has to be done as per the steps in the manual, and it seems to be very unforgiving if you deviate. Our first reaction on getting strange errors with BP installations is nearly always to go back to the beginning and re-instll everything (even the OS). If the error still exists, then we go searching...maybe not a very efficient way of doing things, but the complete re-install rules out so many possible problems.
Keep us posted on progress. If you get any other errors or have any questions on the above, put them up.
Best regards,
Hi Ian,
Thank you for replying. Is there a link to the solution? I woud like to look into it. For my WSS & IIS, I didnt encountered any errors during or after installation. But if running error, I think it is this one.
Thanks
Alex
Hi Alex,
I've see this before in BP, but not in the Create KPI. It is a Microsoft Office Sharepoint issue as far as I know. I came across a post on technet that said to set Impersonate = True and got one of our techies to look into it. It resolved the issue anyway. Was MOSS and IIS installed correctly? any errors while / after installation?
