Add new fields to the Invoice report PSAProjInvoice

Hello,

We are trying to start invoicing in AX 2012 and we required adding new fields (from existing Project Contract tables).

I can't seem to find the dataset or table PSAProjInvoiceDP so that I can try adding the actual field.

Is there an article that describes how to add a field to the Invoice form PSAProjInvoice?

    SSRSReport: PSAProjInvoice

    The tables used are PSAProjInvoiceHeaderTmp, PSAProjInvoiceTmp, ProjInvoiceLocalizationTmp

    The data provider class used for the report is PSAProjInvoiceDP

    This is only one of multiple invoice reports which may be used depending on the contract type and type of invoice report being printed.

    Hi David, thanks for your reply.

    I created my new field in AOT using the 'PSAProjInvoiceHeaderTmp' table. However the field is not showing on the report. Do I have to create the new field programmatically in the 'PSAProjInvoiceDP' class?

    You will need to update PSAProjInvoiceDP to populate the data. In addition you need to update the dataset on the PSAProjInvoice report to select the field from table to include it on the report.

    I suggest you spend some time learning about report development in Dynamics AX
