Hello Community experts,

There is a requirement where an email should be sent to the manager which displays number of leads captured today by a sales person

Example: Sales person A - 10 Leads

               Sales person B: - 20 Leads

    Hi,

    There is a couple of ways to achieve that.

    1) WF + WF Activity

    • WF activity to retrieve data
    • WF to generate and send E-mail

    2) Scheduled Report

    • A report to generate the information
    • And scheduled to send

    e.g. https://www.encorebusiness.com/blog/scheduling-reports-microsoft-dynamics-365/

    To be honest, I wouldn't suggest sending e-mails for this type of purposes. What i would kindly try to convince them is to generate a Power BI dashboard (or a classic one), and open the dashboard from mobile or desktop to see where sales people are at.

    Hello,

    • First add a field in systemuser entity. let say todayCapturedLeads wish will be increment by 1 each time a Sales person capture a lead. 
    • Create a scheduled flow to set todayCapturedSalesPerson to Zero each 24H
    • Create an other scheduled flow  to execute an action/Custom Activity each 24H. 
    • The action/Custom Activitie will construct and send the email to the Manager.
