I have trouble finding the following products that I keep hearing about:
1/ Excel Add-In for GP
2/ Excel refreshable reports
How do I access these features/reports.

Make sure your GP 10 installation is up-to-date and you have SmartList Builder installed.
There are detailed instructions in the Microsoft Dynamics GP System Setup Guide. Chapter 30 is where you want to go.
