Does anyone know where to find information about the latest production release version # for Business Central SaaS?
You can check the release plans, but there is no version numbers.

You can check from admin center, try to create a new environment and you can see latest version from drop down like below :
If you need to know latest build number available, you can check from https://mcr.microsoft.com/v2/businesscentral/sandbox/tags/list , scroll down all the way :
Yes, that works for starting a new production instance. What about upgrading an existing production instance? Ours is stuck on a 15.0 version for some reason. It's not saying any upgrade is available even though all our sandboxes have been upgraded to 15.2
I think you just need to wait until the update is coming to your production tenant , just ensure you have added your email in notification recipient so that you will receive alert when update is coming or any error due to extension break because of upgrade.
If the upgrade is not available, you just need to wait. As of now, there is no way to know when the upgrade is going to be available on your production.
