Posted Vendor Invoice and General Journal Data Entities

Recently upgraded an environment to 10.0.35 (from 10.0.32) and noticed a lot of new data entities, specifically it appears posted vendor invoice and posted general journal batches and lines are now exposed without any customizations. Specifically I have been utilizing the following new entities (there are other invoice and general journal entities but I got these working):
  • VendInvoiceJourBiEntities
  • GeneralJournalEntryBiEntities
  • GeneralJournalAccountEntryBiEntities
I have outlined a basic Power Automate Flow on my blog linked below. Hope this helps others as it solves a problem we have always had not being able to access VendTrans or accounting distributions from subledger transfers.

    The blog post is about Power Automate, where you see public collection names of data entities. A public collection name is a property of an entity; you can utilize Metadata Search in Visual Studio to find a entity by the property. For example: 
    type:DataEntityView property:"PublicCollectionName=GeneralJournalEntryBiEntities"
    In this case, you'll see that the entity name is GeneralJournalEntryBiEntity.
