Hi,

I have a plugin that checks duplicate records and through error if any duplicates on create of record,

but it doesn't work on Quick Create Form,

How to perform duplicate detection on Quick Create Form ?

How you are checking duplicates? Do you have duplicate detection rules ? Or you have plugin only ?

As per subject you have mentioned you are using duplicate detection rule. Now you are saying you have plugin. If you are using plugin then please share plugin code here , might be something wrong there.

If you are using duplicate detection rule ,no matter which form you are creating record, duplicate detection rule will be always trigger. Revalidate duplicate detection rule, make sure rule is publish mode.

As long as your plugin triggers on Create and update it should work fine

Please make sure your plugin is registered for both Create and Update

Hi

I have tested it now and it works for me on Quick Create, please see below

If the duplicate detection rule is published and if duplicate detection is enabled it will work

Please double check your duplicate detection settings and also share screen grabs if you still have the issue
