Microsoft Dynamics SL (Archived)

System Message 6901 Another process has updated the pjexphdr table. The program must be terminated.

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I am on the latest version of SL 2011.

In the Expense Report Review & Approval (TM.ERA.00) screen, I selected 'Entire Company' then 'Approval All' and 'Process Company XXXXX'

Upon clicking 'Process Company XXXXX', I get an error message:

System Message 6901 Another process has updated the pjexphdr table.  The program must be terminated.

This is the event log record:

System Message 6124: Process started: Wed Aug 22 05:00 P.M.

================================================================================
System Message 6901: Another process has updated the pjexphdr table.  The
                     program must be terminated.

System Message 6130: Fatal error. Process must be stopped at this time.

System Message 6129: Last item(s) processed: , , , ,
================================================================================

System Message 6125: Process ended: Wed Aug 22 05:00 P.M.

Any input towards a solution will help:

Here's what I have researched so far:

1. It happens in Standard Mode

2. It also happens when I approve only one record and click 'Process Company XXXXX'

3. I queried the PJEXPHDR table and found no duplicates and no blank "stray" records

Any other ideas?

Cordially,

Melanie

    Hello Jana,

    Thank you for the suggestion.  We stopped and started the SQL server but there were no locked records.

    The problem persists in standard mode.  Do you have an alternative suggestion?

    Dear Melanie,

    You might go ahead and stop/start the sql server, it sounds like it could be a lock issue.
