Owner changes report

ReportReport
Posted on by

Hello,

How to get information (report or a view) about who assigned cases to whom?

E.g.

Case name Assignee Assigned To
Case 1 Alex B Max J
Case Alex B Amanda L

I know I can look individually at each case in audit and see who made the change but I need information about multiple cases.

As per your requirement, You have do following steps:

Create a new custom entity that has fields Case Name, Case number, Assignee, Assigned to.

Create a plugin/workflow that execute on Assign of case, Create custom entity in this plugin.

Create a report that show data of custom entity.

You can add those fields as well in same custom entity.

    Hi,

    Simple way,

1.you can create a custom Entity(e.g. new_caseprocession) with Fields Assignee, Assigned To... and lookup relationship with Case.

2.create a personal View with the columns Assignee, Assigned To....

Any time you want to get the relevant information, just open the View.

If found useful, please mark answer as verified. Thanks.

    Hi,

The only place where the old information stored is Auditing which is not easy to report on. So you need to build something to store the information you are looking for by using the customization/ code etc.

You can also take a look on this add on Actionable Auditing from Microsoft which is designed to report on the Audit data. appsource.microsoft.com/.../microsoft_labs.actionableaudit

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Sergey,

    You could try this idea.

1.Create a new field named Assignee on the entity and use custom plug-in to store the account who Assigned his record to others when he performs the Assign action.

2.Then you could create a new view with column Case name , Assignee and owner.

    Hope it helps

    Best Regards

    Leo
