Triggering journey from marketing pages

I have inserted the two script snippets from the custom trigger into the html of the web page.  I also added onLoad function at the bottom of the BODY

I also created another function for a button click.  Neither is causing an email journey to fire.

FYI, an added property on the trigger IS showing up for email customization so, I am guessing it is property configured and activated.

Can anyone recommend a thorough procedure/documentation of how to modify a web page to trigger a journey, please.

    Hi Double Eagle,

A visit to a marketing page is an interaction trigger.

It cannot be used to start or stop a journey; it can only be used during a journey.

I recommend that you trigger the journey by changing the record in the web page:
