Integration from Web services into GP

Posted on by 180

We're using a web custom app and GP Web services to integrate invoices into GP; we upgraded the web app and now are receiving this error when trying to Integrate into GP.  The error message is  Ä non-US vendor is attempting to push a transaction to GP".  Nothing was changed with the web service? Could it be in the config file in the application?  I have never seen this error message before and when I go to All in support it returns nothing found either.  Has anyone seen this error before and if so, any suggestions on what it could be?  Thanks!

    Hi,

The language of that error message doesn't sound like something that would come out of GP.

"A non-US vendor is attempting to push a transaction to GP"

That sounds like a message being generated by your custom app as it attempts to send something to GP web services.

I would search your web app code for that message.

It is entirely possible you are the first person to encounter this error.   Here is a blog post link on the Dynamics GP troubleshooting process.   I would also add to this list, when working on integrations it is a very good idea to hand-enter a transaction in Great Plains, when errors like this are encountered - interaction with the system windows itself can be exculpatory:

I recently went through similar situations with two separate errors, both involved the Professional Services Tools Library (PSTL).  Like PSTL, eConnect is deployed by numerous businesses, but nowhere near as numerous of standard GP Applications.  So, literally no one had encountered the errors I uncovered - in the end I engaged Microsoft Technical Support to help resolve the issues successfully.
