If you have not approved a Target Transition Date, then this will be the final date when the Web Client is removed. After that point your environment will run on Unified Interface only.
is also possible to adjusted the portal to allow customers to remove the target date and to get that extra time to the Final Transition date.
Post that I provided states that transition "Starts" on December 4-th and it doesn't provide any end-date.
I believe Microsoft built internal schedule and goes from instance to instance and does required updates.
So this migration date you saw looks fair for me. It means you have some extra time to prepare the company to the transition.
