I have already asked a few questions regarding this.
Since I want to let Business know about the General availability dates for the release, I just wanted to clarify regarding the dates mentioned in Release wave documentation.
The Release wave documentation shows that for Canada Region the General deployment date is April 1 2024.
1. Is the date going to be exactly April 1 for deployment? Will I receive any update/Message from Microsoft in Power Platform admin center message, mentioning that the updates are going to occur on a particular date? If yes, when would MS send out such a message in Message Center? Or should i just assume that April 1 is the date?
2. It mentions that /For each region listed, deployment begins as early as the Friday dark hours before the listed date/. -> April 1 is monday, does this mean that we would receive the changes on March 29 friday night (if april 1 is indeed the general availability date)
3. /You receive release wave updates as part of your Dataverse weekly updates. This depends on the region where your environment has been created./ - What does this mean?
Looking forward for clarity on these questions.
My earlier doubt regarding turning on Early opt-in was answered. Based on that, I had turned on Early opt-in for our QA environment (which is copy of our main QA) and tested all the new features. Now, we are waiting for all other environments to automatically be updated by Microsoft (Dev, main QA and Prod)
