ADXStudio Export Entity List Data to Excel

Posted on by

Hello,

I want to export data from an Entity List on my ADXStudio Portal site to an Excel sheet. Is this a feature that's available with ADXStudio? I've seen a few posts suggest using OData to export data into Excel, but is there an alternative to this solution rather than using the OData web service?

Thanks

    If you are using Adxstudio then add below lines in port web config file. It may help :

    <configuration>

     <appSettings>

       <add key="aspnet:MaxJsonDeserializerMembers" value="10000" />

     </appSettings>

    </configuration>

    Cheers

    Does anyone know how to get around the 5,000 row limit when downloading a portal entity list to Excel?

    The issue got solved. It was a problem with my Grid Settings missing data in the Custom Parameters and using the wrong Dependencies. Thank you all for helping me!

    Sorry if you create a new entity list in IE do you have the same issue.  I mistook you were configuring a sub grid on an entity form.

    Sorry, but is that a setting in the Entity List form?

    If you create a new metadata for the subgrid in IE do you have the same issue?

    I got in contact with Microsoft Support about the issue and they also said to use a different browser. However, that was not the issue in my case. I still have a red error bar where my Grid Configuration panel should be, but the error text is now blank.

    Hi Daniel, the this.jsoneditor.expandSchema error is related to the most recent version of Chrome and if you use IE you should be able to get around this issue.  The feature you mentioned, download action, is exactly what you're looking for.

    Cool!  I need to check that out.  Didn't know that was a feature.  Thanks for finding that!
