Hello Experts ,
There is a Custom Entity called "Competitor" .
Competitor field is look up on Opportunity form .Where as on Lead entity it's a sub-grid.
My Question here is how to Map these 2 different datatype fields on qualifying the lead .
Appreciate your help on this .

From your post i understood below:
Competitor (1:N) Opportunity
Competitor (N:1) Lead
Further, If i understand correctly, you want to automatically fill up the "competitor" lookup in opportunity when lead is qualified.
This is not possible since for one lead there are multiple "Competitors" listed in sub-grid.
System cannot decide which "Competitor" to map to lookup in opportunity.

If this is with regards to automatically fill up the "Competitor" lookup in opportunity at the time lead is qualified, then this is not possible due to relationship between competitors and Lead.

Hi Harish,
Since you have created 1 to N relationship in between lead and competitor entity you can't map fields from lead to opportunity and this is how it should be. This is because you can map fields from one entity to another entity using "1-N relationship" and in your case competitor is sugrid entity of lead.
I have "Vehicle Details" as a sub-grid with a (1:N) relationship on both Lead & Opportunity entities.
Could you please help me with how I can map Sub-grid records from Lead to Opportunity when Lead is qualified?
