Does anyone know how to build a market basket report? I am looking for a report that you choose a product (most of the time a loss leader). And then it searchs for everytime it was sold and gives you 1. What products were sold with it 2. a profit for each transaction. That way you could compare and contrast differnt Loss leaders to see which one was giving you more bang for the buck. I dont think you can do this with a report "inside store ops" I think it would have to come from some of yall that know SQL really well that we can run in Store Admin. Thanks

you can make this easily with the Detailed Sales report.

Include / show the following fields using the column selector: Transaction, Cost, Profit, Profit Margin, Date Sold.

Drag the Profit Margin column to be the first column, Then follow that with the transaction column. This will give you margins first but still group by transaction. This wont limit to a single item but will give you the sales with profit margin. Play with the column order to see other usual things like Profit per day.
