Hello,
Does anyone know of a report that shows sales by customer and can be filtered by state/time period?
Hi,
You can use Sales Statistics report. It can be filtered and period length can also be given.
Some other view points just in case you want more details or are working with inventory:
Customer - Sales List
Customer/Item Sales
Inventory - Customer Sales
Also you have the "Sales (LCY)" as a field on the customer list. You can set a flowfilter for "Date Filter" and it will alter the value accordingly. This could then be exported to Excel.

I should have clarified more. The filtering needs to be by US State Name. I have not seen the State name used in Business Central only Zip Codes (for North America).

Not sure but I opened my Customer/Item Statistics report and added a filter for State and ran it filter on a single State.

Hi Steve,
Can you add a customers state in your environment (on the customer card)? I can run the report by state but all of our customer cards don't have the state field available.
I have noticed that in some localizations, "state" field is not available and instead you have "county"
In the North American version, the State field, on the Customer card, points to County field in the table. You can see this below:
