Can I have multiple users entering / editing GL Transactions to update the AA details?
Right now when I have the second person open the AA Edit Transaction, it opens the same JE that the other user has opened.
They are two different user
They are on two different machines - of course.
Same company database but trying to update about 8,000 JE to correct the AA distribution.

You are running into known Quality Issue 71639, “Multiuser Issues when using Analytical Adjustment Entry”.
With this quality issue, two users are not able to edit AA data at the same time. When two users have the Analytical Adjustment Entry window open at the same time, they will both see the JE that the first user is editing when they open the window. Sometimes this can result in an error (although the data is ok – the edits already made won’t be saved and must be entered again).
The fix for this quality issue is being considered for a future release. Until then, you’ll want to ensure only one user is editing AA information in the Analytical Adjusting Entry window.

Almas I am pretty sure that Microsoft got the programming right - but I am wondering if I missed a setting somewhere to make it multi user?
Version : 18.00.0628 (R2)
Dex : 18.00.0015.000
There are three users in the system -
1. User 1: Open Financial >> Transactions >> Analytical Accounting >> Edit Analysis
2. User 1: Select desired JE from Analytical Adjustment Entry screen
3. User 2: Open Financial >> Transactions >> Analytical Accounting >> Edit Analysis
4. User 2: Finds the JE selected by user 1 present in the window and if attempts to close - it closes both sessions.
Yes it happens all the time.
No customization and each user is running Dynamics from own desktop machines.
This is a multiuser scenario, in dexterity programming we can handle it so I think it can be handled in AA windows too.
Sounds like a bug; but it will be helpful if you can provide more info, specifically:
1. GP complete version
2. exact steps to 'recreate' the issue
Does it happen intermittently or does it happen consistently (and can be recreated any time as needed)?
Do you have any customizations or 3rd party?
Does the user have clients GP installs in their computer or stations or are you using citrix?\
